Caves Gurfa, example of a wise Sicilian architecture


The caves Gurfa in Alia (Palermo) are example of a wise Sicilian architecture and a sacred sanctuary of the Mediterranean.

The caves Gurfa are an unsolved mystery that hiding among the stones and in large excavated by man with arts and excellent technique.

The legend has it that the caves Gurfa were used in medieval time by the Teutonic Knights.
